Actress Kareena Kapoor  may be reigning queen of Bollywood with a string of hits like Ra.One, 3 Idiots, Bodyguard  and Golmaal 3 to her credit, but the `Heroine` feels that beau Saif Ali Khan is the number one hero. Things are going great guns for Kareena be it in terms of her box office success or propositions that are lined up for release including `Agent Vinod` opposite Saif besides Madhur Bhandarkar`s `Heroine` and `Talaash` opposite Aamir.
“I don`t think I am heroine number one. But `Heroine` is a very special to me. After a long time, I am doing a performance oriented role. It is not for me to tell whether I am number one or not…I cannot say it,” Kareena told reporters here after the launch of the first look of Karan Johar`s forthcoming film `Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu`, where she is playing the leading lady opposite Imran Khan. Though, Karan and Imran both felt Kareena is heroine number one “she never says this on public platform..,” Karan chuckled. Kareena took over as Bhandarkar`s new leading lady for `Heroine` after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan announced her pregnancy in June this year. About her success mantra, Kareena said, “I feel I just have been lucky enough to get some good films, good directors, good scripts and good co-stars. For me Saif is the number one hero.”

New Delhi, Oct 24: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has left no stone unturned to make his dream project ‘RA.One’ a success and at Rs.150 crore is the third Indian film to cross the Rs.100 crore mark. ‘It is possible that this film is the third big-budget movie,’ said film historian film historian S.M.M. Ausaja.

Akshay Kumar starrer 2009 movie ‘Blue’ was the first film which was made on a mega budget of Rs.129 crore, while Rajinikanth’s blockbuster ‘Endhiran’ (2010) was made at Rs.190 crore and tops the list.

Shah Rukh has traveled length and breadth of the country to promote his film. He went on an eight-city tour for the film’s promotions and collaborated with 25 brands.

If reports are to be believed, Shah Ruk has spent about Rs.52 crore on marketing through tie ups.

Other Bollywood big tickets have been under Rs.100 crore. Aamir Khan’s ‘Ghajini’ cost Rs.65 crore, while Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ and Harman Baweja’s ‘Love Story 2050′ were made at Rs.60 crore.

Epic films like Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Jodha Akbar’, Shah Rukh’s ‘Devdas’ and sci-fi film ‘Krrish’ were made within Rs.50 crore.

Mumbai: After all the hype and fanfare, Shah Rukh Khan “RA. A” finally released on October 26, 2011, India celebrates Diwali day. For those who are thinking that “RA.One ‘tour de force of SRK Salman Khan dethroned’ Bodyguard ‘in their collections on the opening day, here’s some news.

Apparently, despite the extensive promotion campaign by King Khan “Ra.One” only managed to R 15.50 to 16,000,000 rupees in the whole India on his first day as compared to the ‘Bodyguard’, which grossed Rs 21 million rupees on the day of its release.

It is believed that the dubbed version of Telugu and Tamil RA.One ‘R will add 2.1 million rupees per day collections of the film.

The reason behind the collections under ‘RA.One “may be the festive season of Diwali, people were rather stay home and celebrate the festival of lights with family and friends.

From now on, Salman Khan ‘Bodyguard’ is still ahead of Shah Rukh Khan “RA.One” in terms of collections on the opening day box office.

Ra.One Movie, Ra one Review, Free Ra.One Movie Star cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Armaan Varma. What’s Good: Individual sequences; stars’ performances; excellent visual effects; the superlative action, the Chhammak Chhallo song; eye-filling photography.

What’s Bad: The first 20 minutes and some portions in the second half which are boring; the story, which is about a video game, will not be fully understood by the computer-illiterate older generation.

Verdict: Ra.One has novelty and great visual effects to see it through at the box-office and ensure profits in spite of its very high cost.

Loo break: A few in the first half.

Watch or Not?: Definitely watch Ra.One for the superlative performances and the grand visual effects and the 3D effects.

Eros International and Red Chillies Entertainment’s Ra.One is the story of Shekhar Subramanium (Shah Rukh Khan), who lives in London and who is so clumsy and uncool that his young, school-going son, Pratik (Armaan Varma), does not consider him as his hero or idol. In fact, he doesn’t even respect his father like a son should.

Shekhar works in a gaming company and he alongwith his colleagues makes a video game, Ra.One, in which the villain, Ra.One, is almost invincible. He makes the villain so powerful because his son tells him that heroes are boring and villains are cool. As luck would have it, Pratik, who plays games under the name of Lucifer, defeats Ra.One who, then, loses his head and escapes from the computer in search of Lucifer. Soon, he kills Shekhar when he lies to him that his name is Lucifer. Shekhar takes on the blame in a bid to save his son’s life. But Ra.One, who has now taken the identity of Shekhar’s own colleague Akashi (Tom Wu), does not give up his search for Lucifer alias Pratik.

Meanwhile, Pratik goes to his dad’s office and between Jenny (Shahana Goswami) and Pratik, the two decide that G.One or, in other words, the Good One from the game would have to be released from the computer to combat Ra.One.

Pratik and his widowed mother, Sonia (Kareena Kapoor), leave London to return to India and are given a hot chase by Ra.One. After a lot of misses, Ra.One finally confronts the mother-son duo but G.One emerges in the form of Shekhar to save them.

Now, G.One, Sonia and Pratik come to India after G.One has almost eliminated Ra.One. However, Ra.One is re-constructed one day and lands in India. What happens next? Does he find Lucifer? Does G.One protect Sonia and Pratik alias Lucifer? If so, how?
